Understanding Hydration

1 Liter (1,000 mL) of IV Fluid is equivalent to ingesting 2.5 gallons of water. Infusion duration is approximately 60 minutes.

1/2 Liter (500 mL) of IV Fluid for those in a hurry, however it does not provide the same hydration as 1 liter of IV Fluid. Infusion duration is approximately 30 minutes.

1/4 Liter (250 mL) of IV Fluid does not provide hydration, but rather provides a quick transport of vitamin. Infusion duration is approximately 15 minutes.
